Best way to share LinkJuice results with a non-technical client?

Post by david_seo »

I want to show my client the PageRank distribution for their site but they won't understand the raw numbers. What's the best way to present this data accessibly?

Download the results CSV and create a simple spreadsheet with three columns: URL, Internal PageRank, and a 'Status' column you add manually (e.g., 'Top Hub', 'Well-linked', 'Needs links', 'Orphan'). Colour-code by status. Most clients understand a traffic-light view immediately. For executive summaries: 'X% of your money pages are in the bottom quartile for internal links' lands better than showing raw PageRank scores.

Totally agree with the above. I'd also look at the outgoing links from your strongest pages. If your homepage links to 200+ things it loses focus. Cutting that list to 30-40 links concentrating on commercial pages made a noticeable difference for us.

Just adding a data point: we did this analysis for an 80,000-page e-commerce site and the run time was under 2 minutes in Chrome. No issues at all. The orphan detection alone saved us probably 15 hours of manual audit work.
