How does the anchor text analysis work?
Does LinkJuice analyse anchor text? I want to find pages that only receive generic anchors like 'click here' or 'read more' internally.

Yes, the All Inlinks export from Screaming Frog includes the anchor text column. LinkJuice displays it in the link table and you can filter/sort by it. Look for your important pages and check what anchors they're receiving — keyword-rich anchors pass more context to Google.

Sam is right. In the link detail view for any page, you'll see all inbound links with their anchor text. The 'anchor text variety' score shows how diverse the anchors are. Very low variety (all identical anchors) can look unnatural and limits the topical signals you're sending to that page.

Just to add to what's been said — I ran into the same issue last month. The key for me was checking the crawl was set to JavaScript rendering mode. That doubled the number of links Screaming Frog found and the LinkJuice PageRank shifted noticeably for several pages.

One thing I'd add: even if the scores look confusing at first, sort by PageRank descending and compare the top 10 against your GA4 sessions. The correlation is usually clear. High-traffic pages should also have high internal PageRank — if they don't, you've found a real problem.
