The equity distribution histogram in LinkJuice shows most pages clustered near zero with a few huge spikes. Is this normal? What should a healthy distribution look like?

The long tail is totally normal — it's basically a power law distribution which is what PageRank produces. A few hub pages (homepage, main category pages) collect most equity and redistribute it.

What you're looking for is whether your money pages (high-intent product/service pages) are in the top tier or buried in the tail. If they're in the tail, you need more internal links pointing to them from your hubs.

Dan is right. A healthy distribution still looks like a long tail — that's just how PageRank works. The key is to compare the PageRank scores of your strategic pages against the distribution. Sort the results table by internal PageRank descending and check if your target pages appear in the top 20%.

Has anyone tried combining the LinkJuice export with a PageSpeed Insights run? We added CWV scores as a third column to the export and now we prioritise pages that have both poor internal linking AND poor Core Web Vitals — those are the ones crawlers struggle with most.

We do quarterly internal link audits now. The before/after comparison feature is genuinely useful — I can show my client a concrete 'your PageRank went from 0.4 to 1.1' for the target page after our linking sprint. Much easier to justify the work than just showing ranking screenshots.
